Pensacola has a dark side, and it’s time we spill the tea—literally.

I am thrilled to announce “Sweet Tea Murders LIVE: An Evening of Pensacola Crime Stories.” This isn’t just a history lecture; it’s an immersive storytelling experience set in one of the most atmospheric locations in the Florida Panhandle.
We’ve partnered with the University of West Florida Historic Trust to bring these chilling local legends to life in the very place where justice (and sometimes injustice) was served.
🏛️ The Venue: Where History Still Lingers
We are taking you inside the Old Pensacola Police Department Headquarters and Jail. Used from 1908 to 1956, this building holds decades of secrets within its walls. You won’t just be hearing about crime history; you’ll be standing in the middle of it.
🔪 The Stories
I’ll be diving deep into two of the city’s most notorious historical cases:
- “The Stabbing at the Half Way House Saloon” – A tale of quick tempers and sharp blades.
- “The Chipley Alley Axe Murder” – A brutal mystery that shook the streets of old Pensacola.
🎟️ What’s Included?
Your ticket gets you more than just a seat in the cell block. Every attendee will receive:
- A Free Mason Jar of Sweet Tea (to steady your nerves).
- An Exclusive Brochure featuring brief descriptions and historical context for both cases.
- Photo Ops: Have your photo taken inside the Old Pensacola Jail!
- Merchandise: Exclusive gear will be available for purchase on-site.
⚠️ Warning: Only 11 Tickets Left!
This is an intimate event, and tickets are disappearing faster than a getaway car. As of right now, there are only 11 seats remaining. * When: Thursday, May 28
- Time: Doors open at 6:00 PM
- Where: The Old Pensacola Police Headquarters & Jail
Don’t miss your chance to experience Pensacola’s criminal past in the flesh. Grab your tickets today before the cell door slams shut!
