Artificial Intelligence, or “AI” is taking the world by storm. It promises many uses, but with it comes some challenges or issues. In law enforcement, some unknowns tend to raise eyebrows. Please tell me what you think…
* Predictive Policing: AI algorithms analyze crime patterns and historical data to predict potential crime hotspots. This allows law enforcement to allocate resources proactively.
* Analyze surveillance: AI automates the analysis of surveillance videos, identifying unusual behavior, unauthorized access, or potential threats.
* Report writing: AI can save officers a lot of time writing reports for them.
I like to see new things in law enforcement and, as we know, everything changes. But getting there will bring some challenges.
Any comments?

false positive and privacy are two common issues I hear. Subscribing to the post to hear others and will come back with more input.
I have heard the same thing. I am considering having one of my adjunct instructors who is an investigator for the State of Florida do some research and teach a class on the use of AI. I know we are early in the game of AI, but I believe a lot of police agencies could benefit from some training. Thanks for commenting, Fahad.
